Students, faculty, and staff from both the Elementary and Secondary Campuses came together for a very special All School Assembly celebrating Oakwood’s 75th anniversary. The gym was filled with school spirit, student performances, laughter, and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
The morning featured remarks from Head of School Jaime Dominguez, deans, and student council representatives, along with performances that showcased the incredible talents of Oakwood students. The event began with a video that looks back at what has made Oakwood School what it is today while looking ahead to Oakwood’s future, all that our School can be, and everything our students will become.
The celebration was made even more special by the presence of Oakwood’s founding families and trustees, who joined the community for this milestone moment. A beautiful anniversary cake made its way into the gym, followed by a very fitting rendition of “Happy Birthday” to our incredible school as Oakwood celebrated 75 years of student voices, creativity, and community.
Voices and laughter filled the gym as students, faculty, and staff sang and danced along to the beloved “All Together Again” song. The joyful gathering set the tone for the year ahead: connected and full of school spirit. And, of course, no All School Assembly would be complete without Oakwood’s annual all-school photo, capturing the community together as we begin a very special 75th year.
