Snapshots of Immersion

Every year, Oakwood middle and high schoolers take part in Immersion: an intense two-week period when students step beyond the usual rhythms of classroom learning and into hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. Through travel, collaboration, artistic exploration, scientific inquiry, service, and real-world discovery, Immersion invites students to engage deeply with new ideas, perspectives, and communities in ways that are both joyful and challenging.

Enjoy this look at moments from across this year’s Immersion courses, offering a glimpse into the adventure, collaboration, and meaningful learning that define this distinctive Oakwood experience.
