New Perspectives in Immersion

In March, Oakwood’s secondary campus students participated in the 2025 Immersion program—an exciting and deeply enriching educational initiative designed to foster experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom. Taking place over the course of two weeks, Immersion offers students the opportunity to dive into one of thirty-one courses.

Students engage in hands-on learning through a combination of on-campus workshops and off-campus field experiences. By stepping into real-world contexts, collaborating with peers and professionals, and delving deeply into topics they’re passionate about, students emerge from Immersion with new skills, fresh perspectives, and lasting memories.
