Oakwood’s “Pink Team” of juniors Leo, Jade, and sophomores Angie and Jordan won the championship while the “Blue Team” of senior Pablo and juniors, River, Brandon, Dash, and Ezra took the silver. Oakwood also received special awards for best fuel efficiency and the Pit Award for the best organized and well-coordinated team throughout the six-hour race.
Oakwood School Racing teams had a tremendous showing at the Horizon Educational Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) California State Championship in Pomona taking 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and winning additional awards for innovation and creativity. Oakwood qualified for the World Finals in the Netherlands with this impressive finish.
