A Memorial and Celebration of Ernest Levroney’s Life for the Oakwood Community

Dear Oakwood Alumni,

It is with great sadness that I share the news that Ernie Levroney, former Oakwood faculty member, recently suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. Ernie was a beloved member of the Oakwood family from 1996-1999 as a science teacher and again from 2007-2012 when he served in many capacities, including as the Science Department Chair. Most recently, Ernie was beginning his second year as Head of the Wesley School, a K-8 school located just around the corner from Oakwood.

You are invited to join a special service that is being organized to celebrate the life of Ernie Levroney. The memorial will take place via Zoom on Saturday, August 8th at 4pm, and it will be streamed via YouTube. After the live stream, members of the Oakwood community can share memories and reflections to honor and remember our beloved Ernie.

To RSVP and receive the Zoom link, click here. Please reach out to Yvette Poydras at ypoydras@oakwoodschool.org if you have any questions.

Ernie had many good friends at Oakwood and he will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

Christie Guevara
