Grand Prix Win & On To State

On Saturday, March 2, the Oakwood Racing Team competed in the Horizon Grand Prix; a science and engineering project where students design and race hydrogen-powered RC cars. Following up on the team’s success at the world championships last year, Oakwood finished 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th at the Southern California Regional competition. This result sends all four of our teams, comprised of both high school and middle school students, to the state finals on March 23 in Los Angeles.
