Join our VIRTUAL CHOIR and be “All Together Again” at the Special Event!

Hi All,

We are producing the entertainment for the Oakwood Special Event scheduled for May 19 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. This event honors Elementary School Principal Margo Long, who is retiring this year.

Many years ago, we produced a virtual choir for the Special Event called FOREVER YOUNG that was quite successful (see video below). Our goal is to make another one specifically designed for the finale of this year’s show. We have created an arrangement of “IT’S A WONDERFUL WORLD” that leads into an Elementary School favorite, “ALL TOGETHER AGAIN,” two songs we know Margo adores. The finished piece will be played with a live band accompaniment and live singers on stage. Our hope is that the audience will also join in at the end.

We are asking you, our beloved singing Oakwoodians past and present, to record and submit your own videos with the super easy instructions below. We have attached links to everything you will need to record your part on a laptop or other device. You will find all of the sheet music, guide vocals, and instructions for recording and uploading your video on the link below. Our deadline to receive your videos is Tuesday, APRIL 24.
